Noble Protector ($1.55) delivering a commanding black type victory over a mile first-up and maintains status as odds-on favourite in 2015 Sunline Stakes betting markets ahead of Marianne ($8), Star Fashion ($8.50) and Girl In Flight ($9) with leading online bookie Ladbrokes.com.au.

Will Noble Protector continue her impressive run of form through the 2015 Sunline Stakes, or will one of her classy rivals hit the line in the clear?

Noble Protector ($1.55)

Following her impressive first-up performance to take out the Group 3 Schweppervescence Trophy (1600m) a fortnight ago, it will take a monumental effort to defeat Noble Protector in this evening’s Sunline Stakes. Beginning her career in the UK before arriving in Australia partway through the Spring Carnival, the Haafhd mare ran second to subsequent two-time Group 1 champion Contributer in the Group 3 David Jones Cup (2000m) first-up before placing fourth in the Group 3 Queen Elizabeth Stakes (2600m). Allocated the rails draw, Noble Protector has been confirmed to be partnered by in-form hoop Craig Williams.

Marianne ($8)

Marianne boxed-on for an impressive second behind Noble Protector in the Schweppervescence Trophy last time out and is positioned well in barrier 3 to do the same thing in the Sunline Stakes. Posting three wins and a further six minor place finishes through her 13 start career to date, the daughter of Darci Brahma finished mid-pack in the Group 3 Guy Walter Stakes (1400m) first-up this time and clearly took valuable condition from the appearance last time out. Punters may find value in adding Marianne as a selection in a 2015 Sunline Stakes Quinella or Trifecta bet.

La Amistad ($26)

Team Hawkes-trained mare La Amistad posted several commendable results over spring and offers incredible value at current $26 for success in the Sunline Stakes first-up or $5 to finish in the top three. Finishing outside the places only a handful of times through her 17 start career so far, the daughter of Redoute’s Choice finished fourth in the Group 2 Hill Stakes 200m) on September 20th; running second in the Listed Tattersalls Club Cup (2406m) and third in the Group 3 Lexus Stakes (2500m) before returning to the paddock.
